I had an awesome mom time sleep so I woke up in the mood today…
I’m in the mood to exercise my almighty prowess as the all-knowing goddess of light and love and share more love to all mankind, particularly my loyal readers and commenters.
I love my loyal readers and commenters like I love my sleep so I’m now rewarding your precious comments with a “do-follow“. Your precious comments and link backs to your own kingdom blogs will now be followed by almighty king google. This means that your comments here will now be officially recognized to help boost your search engine rankings.
I have designated goddess Lucia’s Linky Love plugin to monitor the technicalities. I am only rewarding my loyal readers and commenters, meaning, those who have been regularly giving me love and commenting for a while. I don’t want one night stands, so if you’re just dropping by to trick me into giving-in and then forget about me after you got what you want, you’re totally NOT gonna get it. I’m THAT sensitive.
I’m into long-term relationships and I want ours to grow, so you will start reaping my linky love once you’ve given me at least 3 comments. In case you’re not aware, all blogs have a “no-follow” default, unless they’ve decided to become beautiful like me and overrule it. So even if you get wrinkles commenting on as many blogs as you can, hoping it would boost your search engine rankings, you are probably wasting your precious mom time if your not commenting on a “do-follow” blog like mine.
But you better watch out! I’m making a list, and checking it twice. I’m gonna find out who’s naughty or nice, so be good for goodness sake! Abuse my linky love and I will manually remove my “do-follow” on you or I will report you to Akismet the hun if you’re spamming me, banishing you forever from my kingdom come!

When I click on your name here on your post, I’m directed to your site as you specified in the URL when you posted your comment. With the “no-follow” blogs which is what all blogs have in default, google just ignores this and does not count it as a link towards your blog / site. But people will still be directed to your site. Now, with a “do-follow” blog, this will count as a link to your site and will help increase your search engine ranking. The higher your ranking, the more you’re favored by search engines like google.
To change the default, you can use Lucia’s linky love plugin and it will override it automatically for you. But this plugin is for wordpress platforms only. I’m not sure how blogger platforms do it but I’m pretty sure there are tools that blogger people use to do this. Hope this helps.

I couldn’t get the plugin zip file to upload correctly to my WP dashboard – any advice? it state it was a broken file or something. Thanks in advance if you can help me!
You need to unzip the file first before uploading. Right click on the zip file that you just downloaded, and click extract all. You will then see a Lucia_s_LinkyLove.php file. Upload this file to your plugins folder, go to your admin panel in wordpress, and activate it. Once activated, you can then proceed to customize your options. Good-luck!

I’m confused! I read that “no-follow” is better for SEO. Of course, I know nothing about SEO. I’m dancing fast, but can’t keep up with it all!
