This will conclude the Core Energy Coaching part of the young and fabulous series. How do you put it all together and incorporate it in your life?
First, let’s put it all together. The Core Energy Coaching is a critical part of this series in helping my hot mom community move forward and achieve their goals. Below is the outline of the Core Energy Coaching process that we’ve touched on.
- We’ve asked ourselves what we want?
- Then we assessed our driving force by asking the question Why do we want it?
- We listed our outer obstacles and challenges that are stopping us from achieving what we want
- We then talked about inner blocks or beliefs that are preventing us from moving forward with our goals like:
- How one feels like a victim and thinks they’re stuck in their situation without a choice
- The inner voice that speaks to our self-doubt and fear
- Limiting beliefs
- The clutter in both our environment and life/mind
- We can finally move forward by restating what we want into SMART goals for clear, measurable outcomes.
- It is very critical to find support as we work towards achieving our goals.
- And finally, how do we incorporate this into our life?
If you have goals that involve wellness, relationships, health, lifestyle, self-improvement, or even business, chances are, it involves either forming new habits, dropping old habits, or both. Losing weight for instance, doesn’t just entail that you lose the weight and go back to your old lifestyle. To keep the weight off, you have to keep doing what you did or a modification of it to maintain it, thus incoporating new habits and dropping old unhealthy habits from your life.
Here are some tips to help you incorporate your goals/habits into your life:
- Practice patience. It takes about 180 days to drop an old habit and start a new one. Stick with it.
- Be compassionate with yourself. Don’t beat yourself up if you repeat an old habit. It takes time, remember?
- Celebrate catching yourself. Despite the old habit showing up again, realize that you are committed to changing it. Celebrate the fact that you managed to catch yourself and become aware of it.
- Use reminders – physical structures, to help you be reminded of the new habits you want to adopt.
- Enlist support of family, friends, co-workers, groups, to help you stay engaged and motivated.
- Get a coach! Helps you get clear about what behaviors you really want to change, gives you support, holds you accountable to do what you say you will do, etc.
There you go, my hot moms. I hope you find the Core Energy Coaching aspect of the young and fabulous series very helpful. I would love to hear from you on your progress about your goals. Drop by and let me know!
Good-luck!

Self care, and self patience, are so incredibly important. As I’m going through a major transition myself, its definitely the place I have to keep some focus on. Sometimes being kind to ourselves is difficult… but if we wont, who will? We have to put us first even when it feels odd. Thank you not only for this reminder but also being there as a friend.

Great Tips & Suggestions, Cherrie – Love how you break the details down with these easy steps to make achieving your Goals (something that can get complicated, if we let it) so much more simple.
Your articles have really been helping me to be better organized and to know what the next best step is to do for myself and with my own clients, as well.
Also, since I learned that it takes 28 days to make a new habit become just that a good habit, we have to be patience with ourselves and be kind while this is going on.
This has been an amazing series, goddess Cherrie.
So helpful, inspiring and … Do-Able, and for that I thank you!
While it’s never easy to take on a new habit, or shake off an old one, you have laid out step-by-step processes to actually Accomplish the things that will help us create the kind of life we dream of – and make us all into Hot Moms!

I’m totally with you on your plan for success. My weakness is the clutter part. Not the mental clutter, but the physical clutter.
I’ve put the clutter on my to do list and I promise I’m really going to focus on it. There, I’ve said it, it’s out there, so now I have to do it.
Thanks for the reminder.
Patience? What is that? You make it sound so easy! I definitely need to work on these!!! *hugs*
It’s amazing that it takes 180 days to get rid of an old habit. But, you definitely provide clear steps for realizing your goals.
