One of the main reasons a lot of people can’t get into their goals is because they just have gazillion things listed on their to do lists! Just like a physical clutter, a mental clutter consisting of your mental or physical to do lists, bothers you everytime you see or think about it.
There’s also what I call the people clutter. When your friends with people who take advantage of you and keeps on exploiting you for their own benefit, or people who just wants your constant attention to them, they are the poison pals you seriously need to consider breaking ties with.
Clutter is one of the things that drains people their energies. The stuff that we hold on to, either in our heads, or in our environment, takes up space that could be available for new opportunities, great people, additional business, or even more money. Do you want to attain your goals? Then give up the stuff that no longer serves you, stop draining your energy, so you can finally focus on what matters.
Here are some mom tips on how you can de-clutter your life now:
- Just do it.It will not go away, no matter how much you ignore it. It could even get worse. Whether it’s repair, or organizing, or scheduling that doctor’s appointment, do it now, and cross it off your list.
- Throw it. Review your list again, and see which one no longer applies, and cross it off from your list. Do you have stuff that you don’t need anymore but you continue tokeep it thinking you might need it one day (that is if you can still remember that you have it)? Donate it to Salvation Army, or give it to your friends and save yourself storage space.Going back to people who constantly exploit you, you don’t need them. Say good-bye to them for good and save yourself the grief and energy they’ve been draining from you.
- Hire it. You’re not superwoman. If you’ve been delaying to cut your grass because you just have too much work to do, call somebody to do it for you. If you’ve been attempting to do everything yourself, and you’re just not getting it right, or finishing it, you need help. And don’t be too stubborn to admit it.
On this week’s young and fabulous series, make a list of all your clutters (to do list, clutter in your environment, and life), plan on how to de-clutter your life, to make way for the good things to come into your life.

My clutter is mostly incomplete projects ~ this is not new, you understand. It’s just something that has to get really chronic before I notice it!
But this post has made me realize that I HAVE to clear them up – it’s non-negotiable if I’m going to move forward into my greatness.
So I thank you for that ~ and am visualizing a completely crossed off ToDo list!
Bliss and blessings,

Great Tips about how to organize clutter, Cherrie – It is so true, clutter can cause so much loss of good energy. It can be so draining on our mental and physical state and even keep us in the past so, we don’t have to really look at what is going on in the present. Sometimes, it is just time to let things go…
I like the 27 Fling Boogie I learned at FlyLady.com You going into a room with the idea you are going to throw away 27 things. Of course, dance music is helpful.
Sometimes you can just go under the sink and do it. It makes you feel so good that it’s easy to keep going.
