“Realize that putting yourself first is not being selfish but ensuring you’re always at your best for the people you value and love the most.”
This is my personal quote which I feel so strongly about. It’s the execution that’s not strong enough, though. I’ve practically been busy chasing after my dream all these years. I’m a simple person with a simple dream, and that is to be a fulltime housewife. To break away from corporate ties and just take the time to enjoy life with my family. But eversince my work offered hotelling or work from home, I’ve been basically working from home at least four times a week! So I’m actually close to my dream, in essence.
Now that I’ve been contemplating about it, how my life was in this past year, and what my new year’s resolution would be, I’m just actually grateful, very grateful for everything that has happened. I’ve been a big believer of this saying from “Breaking The Rules” which says that “Everything that happens to you has a purpose.”
Whatever it is that I need to learn from this phase of my life, I probably haven’t learned yet, so I haven’t really moved on. This year, I won’t have a whole list of New Year’s resolution. Instead of chasing my dream, I will live my dream. My only resolution is whatever it is I do have to be something that honors me – in body, mind, and spirit. I would put myself my first priority now, not letting work get in the way of taking care of myself. I won’t wait for anything anymore to enjoy life. The future will always belong to the future… Enjoying the moment with my love ones have actually been what I always wanted. There is no other perfect time to enjoy that than TODAY.
Happy new year, and happy new you, my hot moms!

Your personal quote is motivating. I am one of those moms that does for everyone else way before I ever think of doing for me so I can really relate.
I hope with the new year comes many blessings for you. Keep living your dream.
Happy New Year! Keep that positive attitude moving forward in 2010
