Laura Kelly-Pifer is a married mom of 2 girls residing in Northwestern Pennsylvania. She is also mom to 2 cats and 1 dog. Having found a passion in helping others reach their own health and fitness goals, Laura has obtained a certification in Nutrition and Wellness and is also an Independent Beachbody Coach. Laura is able to assist in meal planning, support for the various Team Beachbody products (Shakeology, P90X, Turbo Jam and Insanity are just a few of the many products avaliable), coaching, mentoring, and encouragement. As a working mom, Laura finds that life can be hectic at times. She focuses on having the family work together as best as possible around their home by creating chore lists for each family member and meal planning. Each family member is given an assignment and chores are rotated between one another. Some days are easier to motivate one another than others but eventually the work gets done. Due to her desire to not become a “Drive Thru Mom”, Laura focuses on making simple, home cooked meals using the grill, crock pot and steamed veggie packs. In a pinch, she chooses restaurants where healthier options can be made. Laura encourages every parent to find at least a little time, even as little as 10 minutes per day, to spend on themselves by doing something that they enjoy. In her opinion, this time is well spent to regroup. Some of Laura’s hobbies are reading, walking her dog, Laney, and an occasional massage.
Laura believes that she has found her calling as a Mom and Coach. She hopes that you all follow your dreams, what ever they may be and regardless of size. It’s never to late to set things in motion.

To help your kids learn to work will help them gain positive self-esteem, even when they don’t feel like it – maybe expecially when they don’t feel like it!
