I do try to allocate time for myself whenever possible, but as we all know it isn’t easy when your a mom. I usually go grocery shopping Friday or Saturday and I leave the kids at home with my husband. I’m a stay at home mom so this time out is very important to me. I like to go to my favorite coffee shop and enjoy a coffee by myself and I make sure to visit at least one store that I don’t intend on buying anything from, usually because it’s out of our budget, just so I can look around and add to my dream list. It helps me to stay focused on my future.

Permission is important. If we give ourselves permission to have time to take care of ourselves knowing that we’ll be back more energized and renewed, and a better mom for our family, that would remove feeling guilty for having to take time for ourselves.

It’s true that getting your hair done or putting on a nice outfit can suddenly make you feel different and more confident. If you feel it, you’ll act it – and that’s definitely being a hot mom!

It takes time to take care of ourselves but we need to make that commitment. I have a to do list every single day to take care of myself and go through it faithfully. When there’s many things to do that day, I put the things near me so I can do them in my little breaks in between tasks.
The only ting that I really don’t do is paint my nails…. hee hee.
    All the best,

AWESOME!!! So many of us Moms get overloaded. These are things that single people have the time for–but that’s really what we need!! We need to reconnect with the things “we used to get to do.” Getting our nails done–perfect to relax. Getting your hair done–perfect time for you to be the focus again. Updating our clothes–very important NOT to feel frumpy!
Bottom line is–We’re worth it! So do it–make the time!
