I’ve seen Dr. Oz made this interesting juice drink in Oprah. It seemed like a swamp juice to me at that time so it took months before I finally had the courage to make it. I was surprised the first time I tasted it. The first word that came to me was “refreshing!” I really liked it! Even my 4 year old liked the taste of it.
This is a fast way to get a good dose of your daily greens and what a way to start your morning. I highly recommend that you try it out for your ultimate morning mom care. Here’s the recipe:
- 1 lemon (just get the juice)
- 2 apples (cored)
- 1/2 cup chopped parsely
- 2 handfuls of spinach
- 1 chopped celery stick
- 1 thumbnail length of peeled ginger root
- 1 medium cucumber
- 4 0z. water or handful of ice cubes
Mix everything in the blender, puree for one minute, and whoala! Makes 2 glasses. Enjoy!
