So yesterday, we’ve decided to make cleaning the house a fun fitness family activity for us. Kids did the dusting, I did the vaccuuming, and dad did the steam mopping. Oh, not to forget, Zoe, our pug, was also doing her share by eating the crumbs under the table!
I love vaccuuming. I sweat like crazy everytime I do that. I get a good workout AND I get to clean the house. Everyone’s moving and burning calories! Sometimes I wish we’re in the Philippines. When you’re there, you get to sweat all the time, EVEN in the shower! You don’t even need to workout because you are sweating all the time! No wonder you don’t get to see a lot of obese people there. But we’re here, so we need to “work” to sweat.
Anyway, we finished early, and after taking a nap, I’ve decided to surprise the kids by setting up the water slide in the backyard while they’re asleep. We picked it up from Menards a couple of weeks ago, for less then $4. When they woke up, they were screaming in excitement! And as you can see in the picture, they were having a grand time water sliding… This morning, the kids woke up telling me their tummy were sore! So I might try it next time, it could be a good abs exercise, lol!

Definitely! I guess anything that will promote physical activity to the family counts! Thanks for stopping by
Cleaning your own house would be one activity you would like to have with your family. This would help create tighter bond around you.

It’s great knowing that you’re accomplishing two tasks at once: cleaning your house and getting a workout! And, even better that the whole family is involved.
