I stepped on the scale this morning and saw that I lost 1.5 lbs this week! Yay me! So happy to see the scale move a little after how many weeks of not moving at all. So I’m happy to report my progress for the week to my Mamavation moms who constantly support and cheer for me.
Still active with the EA Sports Active More Workouts. I finished workout 8 this morning. As I’ve mentioned last week, More Workouts would only let me set 4 workouts per week as compared to the Personal Trainer which allowed me to have 5 workouts per week so I aimed to do more than 4 workouts to see if it would allow me to but haven’t been able to do the extra one.
Last Monday, my rest day from EA Sports Active, I’ve decided to put on my pedometer and aimed to do 10,000 steps. Since I’m gonna be at work that day anyway, that would be my workout. I finished the day with 10,635 steps. It felt good! Tuesday was my EA Sports Active day so I didn’t pay attention to my step count. Wednesday I hit 10,213 steps with 256 kcal. Thursday and Friday were about 6,000 steps.
About 250 kcal for 10,000 steps (approximately). Correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s 250,000 calories lost in a day of just walking! Wow! So right now my new bff is my pedometer and I aim to walk 10K steps on as many days as I can. I just wish I could get my treadmill in the basement up here in the family room so I can walk when I’m watching tv instead of sitting down. I’m so excited to add this new activity into my routine.
I can’t wait to see how my next week goes!

I love the pedometer, cause on days when I can’t exercise I can concentrate on how active I am. Great idea using one. I think they rock…and YOU rock for losing 1.5 lbs. this week! Woot woot!

Congrats on the 1.5. How is the shoulder and rehab going with that?
Still doing therapy, twice a week. I’m suppose to go 3x per week, but my schedule can only fit 2x. My range of motion is getting better, but I still feel some pain. Can’t wait to get totally healed, it’s just taking so long now.

Hey if you don’t see that scale move break out the tape measure! Some times you can track loss of inches around your chest, hips, waist, arms and legs.

I would love to have a treadmill to use while watching tv too. I did that to watch my soaps when I lived at my parents house (a looooonng time ago) and it did wonders! I sometimes now use my step during shows, though. Do you have one you could use?
