This week, was pretty exciting. In celebration of Earth Week, I’ve decided to cut down on electricity and do my workouts outside instead of my usual 30 Day Shred, EA Sports Active, or Zumba. So I tried running outside! And I liked it! It was definitely harder than running on the treadmill, that’s for sure. But for some reason, I enjoyed the outdoor/nature scenery. I just wish I’ll find a walking/running path instead of the sidewalk concrete which is kinda hard on my knees. I ran three times this week, yay!
Yesterday, we went to Sushi Station, our family’s favorite, and I ate a lot of the seaweed salad again. Man oh man, I can’t get enough of this salad, I’m really addicted to it! I wish I could find a recipe that’s been tested already. If you have one, please send it to me!
Today, Sunday, I continued with the 30 Day Shred, this time, level 2. I did it after running outside. Oh my goodness, level 2 was hard! I was cursing Jillian all throughout the workout! My arms and legs were shaking! My face was all red, my husband got worried about me. Man that was a good workout!
My plan for next week? Continue running outside and do the 30 Day Shred level 2 for at least three times. Tomorrow, Monday, I would be at work so it will just be walking – a lot for me, at least 10K.
I hope you all have a fabulous, active week my hot moms!

Good luck with running. I’m in the process of making myself get into it. I always give up and quit because I get sore. ha!

Running outside! Awesome
That is my favorite way to run – I don’t like the “dreadmill”. I just started running in January and have run 2 10K races so far. The outdoors is very motivating! Keep enjoying nature and exercising outside
Wow you go….That is great that you are running and doing the shred…sounds like you are really moving it! Keep up the great work!

Wow girly that’s impressive! I know what you mean about running outside vs. treadmill too. It won’t take long to get used to it though and yeah, running outside is alot more exciting! Good to see you’re passing the curse test too. That’s how I test my workouts: If I’m cursing in the middle of it, it’s a keeper…ha!
yay for running outside! I love it and look forward to it. Today I spotted a pair of Eastern bluebirds while “wunning.” The male’s blue was so vibrant! Can’t find scenery like that on a treadmill!

I took my C25K outside this week too and it killed me! I could only run 2 of the running segments then I had to walk the rest. Keep up the good work!!! You can do it.

Dude, I am a jerk, I found one. First one when you google http://seaweed-salad-recipe.blogspot.com/2009/05/easy-to-make-seaweed-salad.html I have been trying with various wakame so can’t comment on the best right now (been trying pre-spiced ones lately-hot).
I was gonna start my comment with how I look forward to reading your posts, but yeah, I read this and thought… yum. Glad you are enjoying outdoor running. If you are in a residential area hop between sidewalk and street if you can, the asphalt is better on your knees just watch the slant towards the gutter if you can help it because it will pull weird on your knees.
